Saturday Night 1/30/10

Brenda: "The investigation had just begun as Peggy and I were conducting a sweep of room 304.  Several minutes had passed and the outside noise began to affect our investigation." {Director's note: Room 304 is on the front of the Plaza Hotel and is affected by vehicle traffic and noise from pedestrians around or on the Plaza} "We decided to ask questions {EVP Session} in the changing room, which is enclosed and much quieter.  A really strange feeling came over me as we continued to ask questions...it was if I knew something was very wrong.  In hindsight, it is a very difficult feeling to describe...but I knew at the time it was a feeling I had never experienced before. Just as I was trying to explain to Peggy what was happening, the batteries in our digital voice recorder went completley dead." {Director's Note: There is a popular anomoly where fully charged batteries in equipment are drained of power as an entity tries to form or make contact}

Brian: "After Roger had given us a tour of the Plaza Hotel, {2PM Saturday} Brenda and I had gone up to our room (Room 316)  to take a nap.  After falling asleep, I was reliving the tour that Roger had just given the hour before.  In my dream, we were in our room and I asked Roger who haunted the room. He simply said Byron T.  I awoke from my dream..frozen in place, with a feeling that I could only descibe as something or someone trying to enter my body.  Although I was anxious and tried to move, I could not.  This lasted several seconds" {Director's Note: There are reports of an entity sitting on the bed in Room 316}

Melissa: "Brian and I were conducting a sweep of the second floor where I was taking photos just inside the doorway to one of the hallways.  Brian was on one side of me when I felt a slight touch to the back of my head as if a hand was slid from right to left above my collar.  All at once I experienced a cold spot behind me." {Directors Note: Cold spots are theorized to be caused by entities pulling energy out of the environment as they try to interact.}

Peggy: "During our final sweep of the basement area {1:30-2:00AM}, I was standing approximately 15 feet from a free-standing sink and saw what appeared to be a 2 foot high shadow run back and forth behind the sink.  This lasted about 15 seconds" {Director's Note: See photos in basement, EVP and soundtrack from Mini DV all of which contain anomolies at the same time}

Roger: "We were in the basement of the Ilfeld Building, which is being renovated for more entertainment space for the Plaza Hotel.  I was standing in the vault with the team and filming Nightshot video with the Mini DV when I turned and looked down the  tunnel leading to the vault.  Toward the end of the tunnel, past the doorway into the basement is a series of 2' x 2' square windows. I watched what apperared to be a shadow move from the window to the floor of the tunnel and then jump back up and through the window. The shadow was not round, more torso like and was 3-4 feet in height and hunched over.  This occured from the other side of the tunnel earlier and I saw it with my naked eye as it jumped from the window sill to behind some stacked drywall against the outside wall.  I checked behind the drywall and found nothing" {Director's Note: Neither Peggy or I confided in one another the experiences we had in the basement Saturday night until after the investigation.  The experience here correlates with the EVP, photos and video soundtrack at the same times.}
