The Plaza Hotel
January 30-31, 2010
On Saturday and Sunday nights Purple Sage Paranormal Society investigated reported
paranormal activity at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas, NM. The property is very large consisting of two buildings constructed
in the late 1800's.
Our investigation at The Plaza Hotel resulted in several phenomena, anomalies and personal experiences
that we could not explain. Therefore, we find The Plaza Hotel of paranormal interest. Below is a summary of some of the incidents.
·
The disembodied voice of the child in the basement caught
on the mini-camcorder and also on the digital voice recorder.
· The picture of a child above the mirror in the basement of the hotel.
·
The shadows that were darting around in the basement.
·
The faucet that was turned on in the ladies restroom;
no women on the investigation team had been in the restroom including employees or any of the three guests staying at the
hotel that night at 1:30 a.m.
·
The apparition of the lady in the blue dress in the
hallway connecting the ballroom and the lobby.
·
The footsteps on the third floor that were heard upon
breaking down the equipment at 2 a.m. on the second night of the investigation.
Purple Sage Paranormal Society would welcome the opportunity to do further investigation
at The Plaza Hotel.
We received this via www.purplesageparanormal.com after our investigation:
Good afternoon Mr. Barton,
My name is Brian Baca and
I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas NM. I was given room 316 and I must say I did
experience a couple of things that were somewhat out of the ordinary. During the last two nights of my stay I would close
the draperies each evening before going to bed and in the morning they would be partially open about 6 to 8 inches. On the
last night of my stay I woke up at about 4:30 am and not only did I notice the drapes open but I heard what sounded like 2
footsteps dragging along the carpet like some one was walking but not lifting their feet up enough and this was very close
to the bed right in front of me.
I told the desk clerk about my experience and he mentioned that your organization had recently conducted
an investigation of the Hotel so I thought I would tell you about my experience.
Sincerely,
Brian Baca
Chief Deputy Treasurer
Santa Fe County
Thank You Mr. Baca for
helping to validate some of our experiences!!!
