We visited the Govenor's Mansion in August of 2008.  When we arrived, we had intended to enjoy the mining festival, not investigate a haunting.  But after a short conversation with the proprieters of the B&B, they become excited to find out we were paranormal investigators on vacation.  They gave us a short history of the home reportedly haunted by the spirit of the original builders wife...Flora.  They explained she was shy and would move to areas of the house that was not occupied. As I worked with a digital camera in the back of the house, Marlane in the front of the house experienced several fleeting K-II hits.  These were timed with the camera flashes and might have been Flora moving through from my invasion to a more peaceful place.
We also learned of an extensive cemetary in town with over 25,000 graves.  This was too tempting to resist.  Cemetaries are agreat place to research local history as you will see in the photo's below.  Cemetaries by themself, are not usually hot spots for paranormal activity.  Think about it...the trauma, life events and death of the individual, did not happen in the cemetary.  We have read of occurences that included a spouse traumitized by the death of a loved one or close friend.  They visit the cemetary grief stricken for years imprinting a residual haunting.
PSPS would like to return to Leadville for multiple organized investigations...too many possibilities...so little time.
